negotiations
Fulfilling the purpose of the meeting, taking care of the company’s interests, and asking the right questions. I also hear the needs of partners at the negotiating table. Empathy and thinking about the future are all solid preparations.
Let’s look at the definition: negotiations are a way to reach an agreement or resolve a conflict. I would like to note that the definition does not precisely specify:
- How to prepare a negotiation strategy?
- Is data from excel enough?
- What kind of team should I negotiate with?
- What are the roles at the negotiation table?
- How do we to help each other in the team during the preparation phase?
- What are our negotiation rules with the team?
- What happens when you don't know what to do during negotiations?
These are the topics I work with.
YES, Cannot Exist
Without NO
There are many nuances of negotiations. Sometimes we give something away for free, sometimes we win one deal and lose 5 others. There are also situations when it pays to set a boundary, and say no. After we say no we enter a higher level of negotiations. We build a cooperation. Other times we use no to get out of a difficult business arrangement, closing one door and opening another and that is also OK.

Iron Beata
My brand of negotiation on the market is soft on people, with strong principles, working on hard on the problem. I have over 20 years of experience in conducting negotiations at the table. I have buyers from international FMCG organizations, pharmaceutical, fashion, e-com industries. I traded advertising time as the head of the trading department of an international Group for media, creative, and technology agencies. I know both sides of the coin.

I value getting out of negotiation and business entanglements. Being conciliatory without violence is the way I do things.
